Faith Transition Group
Welcome! I’m glad you're here. Transitioning away from a high-demand faith can be an emotional journey, filled with feelings of guilt, shame, relief, loss, freedom, and uncertainty. As a former member of the Mormon church and a licensed therapist, I’m here to support you through this process in my therapy group for individuals who have left or are in the process of leaving the Mormon Church.
In a safe and supportive environment, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the emotional, social, and psychological challenges that come with leaving a high-demand faith. This group provides a space for healing, self-discovery, and growth, offering peer support and guidance from a therapist who understands the unique struggles of stepping away from a religious community.
Through group discussions, shared experiences, and therapeutic techniques, participants will explore ways to manage difficult emotions, navigate relationship challenges, and rebuild self-worth outside of the church’s teachings. The group’s goal is to empower participants on their journey toward acceptance, freedom, and a renewed sense of personal and spiritual identity, while fostering connections with others who have experienced similar challenges.
The group will consist of 3 to 8 participants, meeting weekly for one hour, with a minimum commitment of 6 weeks. Request to join or ask questions about the group by completing the form below.
I am looking forward to supporting you to find connection and healing!
